Learning and teaching foreign languages raise countless questions. The research opportunities seem infinite. My current interests include features of psychology in language learning and teaching such as learner self-regulation, learner engagement, strategic learning, teacher caring and credibility, as well as methodological concerns like student-centred and problem-based teaching. I wish there were enough time to follow up on all the questions and ideas that pop up in my head. Unfortunately, that is unlikely to happen.
