The complexity of foreign language learning and teaching provides a wide range of attractive research opportunities. My current interests include features of psychology in language learning and teaching such as strategic learning and learner self-regulation, as well as methodological concerns like student-centred, classroom-centred, and problem-oriented teaching. I wish there were enough time to follow up on all the questions in my head but unfortunately, that is unlikely to ever happen.
